Mrs. Jody Asher

Registrar

Mrs. Asher has been a Panther since 2008.  Prior to becoming the registrar, she worked as the school's data clerk.  All three of Mrs. Asher's children, Maddie, Reagan, and Tyler, are EJH graduates.  She recently completed the district's Aspiring Leaders program for classified staff.  Mrs. Asher is from Webster, IN.

Mr. Alan Ford

Guidance counselor

Mr. Ford has been a Panther since 2004.  Prior to being one of the inaugural members of the EJH faculty, Mr. Ford served as the Youth Services Center coordinator at Bryan Station Middle School and worked at as the SAFE teacher at Tates Creek Elementary School.  His oldest daughter, Elliot, is an EJH class of 2017 graduate, and youngest daughter Tatum, is a part of the Class of 2019.  He is the school's Infinite Campus building coach and head golf team coach.  Mr. Ford is from Lexington, KY.

Ms. Timia Gardner

Guidance counselor

Ms. Gardner has been a Panther since 2020.  Previously, Ms. Gardner has experience in school systems in Kentucky, New Jersey, and Georgia.  She possesses an array of experience in the school setting, including a special education teacher, school social worker, behaviorist, and transition specialist.  In Fayette County, she has worked as a school social worker, Family Resource and Youth Services Center coordinator, home school liaison, and coordinator for the special education parent resource center.  Ms. Gardner sponsors Panther Men of Quality and is from Lexington, KY.

Ms. Jonna Hayden

Guidance counselor

Mrs. Hayden has been a Panther since 2013.  She was previously the Youth Services Center coordinator and guidance counselor at Leestown Middle School.  She also worked as a social worker in Chicago.  Mrs. Hayden's son Josh is a Class of 2015 EJH graduate.  She serves as the school's building assessment coordinator.  Mrs. Hayden is from Hartford, KY.

Ms. Madeline Potter

Youth Services Center Coordinator 

Ms. Potter has been a Family Resource Center Coordinator for 6 years. Prior to her time here at EJH, Madeline worked at James Lane Allen Elementary.  She received both her graduate and undergraduate degrees at Eastern Kentucky University (Bachelor's degree in Spanish and International Studies;  Master's degree in Adult,  Juvenile, and Community Corrections Leadership). She speaks Spanish fluently and is studying French as well.  Madeline has extensive experience working with diverse populations and students of all ages.

Madeline was the recipient of the GEER II grant to address mental health needs of JLA families and students ($100,000). She has been recognized by Governor Beshear and interviewed on WKYT Lexington News about her “Mask Up JLA” initiative. She has received the Student Support Hero Award and was recently awarded the FRYSC Impact Spotlight 2024 . Madeline is Partnering with Families for Student Success certified, CPR/AED certified, and serves as a FRYSC Mentor and Coach.

Mrs. Kylie Qualls

District mental health specialist

Mrs. Qualls has been a Panther since 2023.  She has previously lived in Taipain, Tawain, where she served as a kindergarten teacher.  She also worked in community mental health for over a decade before joining FCPS.  Mrs. Qualls is from Lexington, KY.

Ms. Jenny Walker

School psychologist

Ms. Walker has been a Panther since 2023. She is from Richmond, KY and began her career with Loudon County Schools near Knoxville, TN where she worked for four years before moving back to Kentucky where she accepted a position with Fayette County Public Schools. Walker has worked in both elementary and middle schools. Both of her parents live in Richmond, KY. Walker also has a younger brother and two nephews (the oldest is 2 and the youngest is 6 months).
