Course Sequence Goal
Students will gain experience as a leader inside a classroom in hopes of identifying, inspiring and preparing great teachers for the future.
By the end of this course students will have a foundation of pre-teaching education to inform their eventual practice through observation, practice and reflection.
Seventh Grade Course Description
Course Description
Seventh grade students will observe and assist an experienced teacher within a classroom. Students will research the steps required to obtain a teaching certificate, interview their own teachers about their experiences and gain a better understanding of the commitment involved with teaching.

Eighth Grade Course Description
Course Description
Eighth grade students will work alongside an experienced teacher within a classroom. Students, along with teacher assistance, will plan research-based instructional activities, implement lessons to small groups, and self-reflect on effectiveness.
