Sixth Grade Course Description
Course Description
In this course, you will have the opportunity to develop your singing skills and techniques, both as an individual singer and as part of a small or large ensemble. You will learn how to use your voice to create different tones, dynamics, and expressions, and how to blend your voice with others. Students will also have the opportunity to perform in various settings, such as concerts and competitions. Students will learn a variety of vocal techniques and musical skills. Students will learn how to perform a variety of different choral music from a wealth of composers and arrangers. Students will learn about musical terminology and how music is composed. Students will be able to analyze and critique music from various genres, styles, time periods, and composers. Students will also do self-reflections where they critique their own performances.
