Edythe J. Hayes Drama Department Presents Matilda Jr.

The Edythe J. Hayes Middle School Drama Department is proud to present Matilda Jr. on March 28 and 29, 2026. This high-energy musical, based on the beloved story of a brilliant young girl with extraordinary courage, will showcase the talent, dedication, and creativity of our Panther performers.

The production is under the musical direction of Emily Levey and directed and choreographed by Devon Collins and Kadyn Edwards. Over the past several weeks, students have dedicated countless hours to rehearsals — learning choreography, refining vocals, building confidence, and working together as a true ensemble.

Performance times are:

• Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 PM

• Sunday, March 29 at 2:00 PM

Tickets are $7 for students/children and $10 for adults.

This production reflects our commitment to providing vibrant learning experiences that allow students to shine beyond the classroom. We invite families, friends, and community members to join us in celebrating the arts at Hayes and supporting our talented Panthers.
