EJH Staff Get Muddy for a Cause
On August 18th, EJH and FCPS staff dressed out in their pink and black and headed to Sparta, Kentucky to participate in the annual Muddy Princess 5K event. Kris Church, Laura Gilmer, Monica Hoskins, and Monyka Wood completed more than 18 obstacles as they splashed and waded through mud to the finish line. The event raises more than $23,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a foundation that aims to fill in the gaps of cancer care by ensuring that every woman has the access and information and care that she needs. Seeing an EJH colleague pass away from cancer this spring, made this event even more meaningful.
