🌟 Honoring Our Heroes at Hayes! 🌟
Today, we had the privilege of welcoming veterans from our community, as well as family and friends of our students, to celebrate Veterans Day at Edythe J. Hayes. A heartfelt thank you to all who have served!
Our celebration featured a beautiful color presentation by Henry Clay High School ROTC, along with stunning performances by the EJH orchestra, band, and chorus. The VP of our PTSA and president of our student council read two moving pieces, "The Noble and the Brave" and "Honor the Military," paying tribute to the sacrifices of our veterans.
A special thank you to Mr. Sherrard, our associate principal, for his closing remarks. We are so grateful for the courage and dedication of our veterans and their families. #VeteransDay #HayesHeroes #ThankYouVeterans #CommunityCelebration
